Martha’s Vineyard’s Food & Wine Grand Tastings: Farming is an integral part of life on the Vineyard and the Grand Tasting on Saturday will celebrate the beautiful bounty that Fall brings to the Island. More than a dozen chefs will craft unique amuse-bouches that showcase farm fresh fall ingredients. From the first settlers and native peoples, Martha’s Vineyard has always had a rich fishing history. That history lives on today on the docks of Menemsha and the bounty that emerges from the waters surrounding our Island home. The Martha’s Vineyard Food & Wine Festival will celebrate that tradition on Sunday with a special Grand Tasting dedicated to all things seafood just steps from the ocean at the Winnetu Resort in Edgartown. Fresh oysters, fish and beautiful shellfish from the Island paired expertly with wine, cocktails and spirits from our beverage partners will be available from more than a dozen chefs.
